Obituary
Kenneth L. Mowery Sr., 83, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday morning December 29, 2022 at the Humility House following a short illness. He was born in Niles, Ohio on August 15, 1939 the son of Estle and Leota (Gearhart) Mowery.
Kenneth worked for Albee Homes Construction and D&D Electronic Servicing before owning and operating Ridge Computer Service. He was a talented musician and vocalist for many bands throughout the years including Kenny & the Kasuals, the Ovations, Waco County Band and Back in Time. An avid sports fan, he loved watching the Browns, Cavs, Buckeyes and Guardians.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Constance Kay "Connie" (Whittaker) Mowery whom he married on January 9, 1960; four children, Kenneth L. Mowery Jr. of Mineral Ridge, Craig A. Mowery of Mineral Ridge, Brent (Ronda) Mowery Sr. of Liberty, Denise Mowery of Tuscon, Arizona; daughter-in-law, Holly Mowery of Mineral Ridge; nine grandchildren, Christopher (Tara), Danielle, Brooke, Brent Jr. (Melissa), Nicole, Kylie, Tyler, Zach and Charlie; four great grandchildren Rachel, Caleb, August and Eli.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Mowery who died October 10, 2021; three sisters, Opal Williams, Betty Hensley, Ruth Bennight and three brothers, Paul G. Mowery Sr., Harold Mowery and Eugene Mowery.
There are no funeral services. Arrangements by the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home 126 West Park Avenue, Niles, Ohio 44446.
