Lisa Anne Cribley, 50, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Monday February 12, 2024 at 11:52 a.m. in Fort Myers, Florida. Lisa, the daughter of Paul Gaydosh Sr. and Rosanne (Gerchak) Thompson, was born in Warren, Ohio on December 23, 1973. She attended Howland Schools and graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. Lisa, a registered nurse at United Health Care, skillfully applied her medical knowledge and nurturing instincts to the upbringing of her five wonderful children.
Lisa was married on June 20, 2015, to the love of her life and most devoted husband, Richard Cribley. She always cherished a lifelong dream to live by the beach, and this dream became a reality in January 2021 when they moved to Fort Myers. Florida was her home, an endless summer that brought her joy and happiness she had chased for most of her life. Her love for the beach was evident in her frequent walks along the shore, each step in search of the perfect seashell.
Lisa enjoyed the simplicity of long car rides without a destination in mind. Lisa's concern was always for the wellbeing of her children, to whom she offered endless support and guidance without hesitation. Every visit guaranteed you'd depart with a front seat loaded with toiletries, towels, food and treats to take along. An avid gardener, she found joy in the beauty of blossoming flowers, a passion she paralleled in nurturing her children's growth. Lisa was a devoted Catholic woman who also loved bargain hunting and spent hours searching for the perfect T-shirts. Lisa was the cornerstone of her family, her presence a comforting and calming force that made everyone around her feel safe and more in love with life. She saw the beauty all around her, and, in turn, we all saw the beauty in her. Lisa's legacy is one of warmth, love, and the simple joys that make life beautiful.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband Richard Cribley; mother Rosanne (Marty) Thompson of Howland; father Paul E. Gaydosh Sr. of Southington; her five beautiful children Zachary (Roberta), Madison (Benjamin), Ian, Emily and Joseph; former husband James Mueller; brother Paul Gaydosh Jr. of Cape Coral, Florida; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rosa and Joseph R. Gerchak.
