McDONALD - Lucille S. Oakley, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning December 24, 2022 at the Hospice House in Poland. She was born in Elliott County, Kentucky on April 1, 1946 the daughter of Harrison and Amy G. (Wagoner) Creech.
She was a member of the Galilee Apostolic Church. Lucille loved to travel and attend concerts with her daughter, sisters and nieces: the Daisies. She also enjoyed visiting family in Kentucky, scrapbooking and crafting ceramics.
Lucille is survived by her husband Louie E. Oakley whom she married on November 24, 1966; daughter, Amy Jane Oakley of Avon Lake; two sisters, JoAnn (Glen) Gregory of Niles, Carolyn (Robert) Smith of Boardman; brother, Glen (Goldie) Creech of McDonald and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Olive M. Cline, Bonnie Wilson, Aline Tackett and brothers, John Creech, Dennie Creech, Jackie Creech.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday December 30, 2022 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at noon at the funeral home. Rev. Garey McCartney will officiate. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
