Obituary
Mary Alice Neiss, 85, passed away peacefully at 12:04 p.m. on Friday April 28, 2023 at the Masternick Memorial Nursing Home in New Middletown. She was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania on January 5, 1938 the daughter of Lloyd P. and Marie June (Kautzman) Adams and lived in the Niles community most of her life.
She was a 1955 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and a member of the Niles First United Methodist Church. She retired in 1995 and after 25 years as a school bus driver for the Howland Schools.
Mary Alice is survived by a son, Brian Edwin (Marcia) Neiss of Hubbard; daughter, Treva Lee Neiss of Niles; four grandchildren, Adrianne Neiss of Salt Lake City, Utah, Christopher (Courtney) Neiss of Vienna, Brian (Kayla) Neiss of Ashtabula, Michael Neiss of Geneva; three great grandchildren, Wyatt, Charlotte, Ashton; brother, Lloyd (Barbara) Adams of West Farmington and sister, Karen Cunningham of Warren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William E. Neiss whom she married on October 19, 1957 and who passed away on July 22, 2021.
At Mary Alice's request a private service will be held at a future date. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery. Arrangements by Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home in Niles.
