Obituary
Ralph E. Granger Jr., 73, formerly of Niles, passed away peacefully at 9:57 a.m. on Tuesday August 2, 2022 at the Select Specialty Hospital - Trumbull. He was born in Niles, Ohio on May 16, 1949 the son of Ralph and Frances (DeLarratta) Granger Sr.
Ralph was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School. He worked in the newspaper industry and Kraftmaid throughout his life, dedicating most of his working life to The Vindicator newspaper. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching television with his late wife Helen and spending time with the family dogs.
Ralph is survived by his family, Christine (Jeffrey) Gilmour with whom he made his home in Newton Falls, Paul (Kim) Unger of Martinsburg, Pennsylvania, Kathleen (Scott) Braithwaite of West Valley City, Utah; grandchildren, Robby (Katrina), Justin (Alexa), Amanda, Cody, Noah, Chandler, Collin, Hannah (Bryce), Caiden; great grandchildren, Deklan, Scarlett, Remy and Wade. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Helen C. (Glunt) Granger whom he married on June 23, 1982 and who died on August 7, 2020; granddaughter, Jennah Howe and brother, Charles A. Granger.
