Robert F. Newsome

GIRARD - Robert F. Newsome 47, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning December 20, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Warren, Ohio on April 21, 1974 the son of Robert G. Newsome and Sandra (Miller) Roman. He was a 1992 graduate of Girard High School and was a tow motor driver for CPI Packing in Lordstown for the past 15 years. Robert was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church in Niles. He enjoyed watching football and was a fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes, Philadelphia Eagles and the Pittsburgh Penguins. He enjoyed celebrating Christmas and making crafts with his nieces.

Robert is survived by his mother, Sandra Roman of Austintown; two sisters, Tiffany Newsome of Niles, Priscilla Roman of Youngstown; three nieces, McKenzie Beyers, Regan Beyers, Harli Mangas; three great nieces and a great nephew.  He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents Donald and Beverly Miller.

A memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the New Hope United Methodist Church 21 Fairview Avenue, Niles, Ohio 44446. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. service at the church. Rev. Curtis Miller and Rev. Jim Spatholt will officiate.
