Obituary
Rosemary Foster, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday evening July 31, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness. Rosemary was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on April 22, 1940 the daughter of Ernest and Mildred (Booth) Jordan.
Rosemary retired in 2000 as a faithful custodian for the Niles City School System. She attended the Mineral Ridge Church of Christ and enjoyed cooking special dishes for her family. She loved to go shopping, visit the casino and cherished activities with her children and grandchildren.
Rosemary is survived by her husband Gene Foster whom she married February 18, 1960; two daughters, Darla Leedy, Joyce Miller both of Niles; three grandsons, Charles (Kristina) Miller of Niles, Christopher (Emily) Leedy of Long Valley, New Jersey, Joe (Amanda) Miller of Mineral Ridge; four great-grandchildren Grant, Cameron, Remi, Griffin, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Jordan and mother, Mildred Pennington; two brothers and a sister, Donald Jordan, Wilma Isham, and Norman Jordan.
At Rosemary's request, private family funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. There are no calling hours. Burial in Niles City Cemetery.
