Ruth Ann Lemley, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, September 19, 2023 at Adventura at Assumption Village. Ruth was born in Merrillan, Wisconsin on January 18, 1936 the daughter of Perl and Leah (Smith) Bullock and came to Ohio in 1953.
Ruth attended the Black River Falls High School in Wisconsin. She was an active member of the Boardman Baptist Church and enjoyed camping and was an avid reader. She loved her family and her church and cherished the many family and church gatherings.
Ruth is survived by three sons and four daughters; Jeff (Barbara) Cataline of Hubbard, Wayne (Barb) Meyers Jr. of Hubbard, Leonard (Lori) Lemley Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Debra (Bill) Maghan of Escondido, California, Chris (Larry) Means of Boardman, Diane (John) Bartolozzi of Parma, Lisa (Thomas) McKelvey of Currie, North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother Eben (Linda) Bullock of Tampa, Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leonard L. Lemley Sr. whom she married October 31, 1987 and he passed away on September 22, 1999; infant daughter Vicky Rae Meyers; grandson Spike; three sisters, one brother and her furbaby Frisky.
Funeral services will be held at the Holeton-Yuhasz funeral Home, 126 West Park Avenue, Niles on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Frank Rickman Jr. officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 22, 2023 at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday for one hour before the service. Burial will follow in Niles City Cemetery.
