Shirley Mignogna Obituary

NILES - Shirley Ann Mignogna 70, passed away at 7:05 a.m. on Sunday August 1, 2021 at the Trumbull Regional Medical Center.
Shirley was born in Warren, Ohio on February 26, 1951 the daughter of Louis F. and Helen T. (Kuhn) Soltesz. She was a 1969 graduate of McDonald High School and was a member of St. Stephen Church, Niles. For 25 years, she was a gas well intergrator at Tri-State Measurements in Girard. She and her husband camped at the Kenisee Grand River Campgrounds in Geneva, Ohio and where she served on the Children Activities Committee. She loved the outdoors and cherished the time spent with her family and grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Michael J. Mignogna whom she married on June 4, 1970; three sons, Michael G. (Mary A.) Mignogna of Austintown, Christopher J. (Laura) Mignogna of Rittman, Edward F. Mignogna of Cleveland; five granddaughters, Leann Nelson, Kylee Mignogna, Samantha Mignogna, Alley Mignogna, Brooke Sandman; five great grandchildren, Logan, Leon, Sabrina, Damion, Brooke; sister, LouEllen Maschgan of Niles; brother, Louis S. (Vicki) Soltesz of McDonald; several nieces, nephews especially her niece Jocelyn Carroll whom she adored.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother in law, Bryan Maschgan and great grandson, John.

A private family gathering was held at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home in Niles. Burial will be at Niles City Cemetery.
