Thomas W. Davis

Thomas W. Davis, 65, died unexpectedly at 7:54 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023 at the St. Joseph Health Center emergency room. Tom was born in Youngstown, Ohio on July 16, 1958 the son of Joseph and Lucille (Colite) Davis and has lived in this area all his life.

Tom was a Niles McKinley High School graduate, and attended Saint Robert's Catholic Church in Cortland. He retired in 2014 following 32 years of faithful service as a press operator for the General Electric Company Mahoning Glass Plant. He enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds, golfing, restoring his pinball machine, and organizing the annual Davis Family Reunion. He was a genuine patriot and a lifelong member of the NRA.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Jill (Dorchock) Davis whom he married May 21, 1983; his mother Lucille C. Davis of Cortland; two daughters, Tami (Dave) Morrison of Mecca, Traci (Jake) Zager of Warren; son, James Davis and girlfriend Kerstin Williams of Warren; two brothers, Joseph (Valarie) Davis of Lakeland, Florida, Larry (Kimberly) Davis of Vermillion, Ohio; sister, Susan (Joseph) Fritz of Howland Township. He was a cherished uncle to many beloved nieces and nephews and a doting Pop Pop to his three grandchildren, Clara, Jameson and Riley.

Friends and family may call at Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home in Niles on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with services immediately following. Pastor David Pykare will officiate.
