Obituary

Victor Paul Holbrook Jr., 69, passed away on Tuesday morning April 18, 2023. He was born in Warren, Ohio on July 16, 1953 the son of Victor Paul and Billie Ruth (Newton) Holbrook Sr.

Victor was a 1972 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. He worked for ten years at Conrail and retired in August 2000 as a Lieutenant of the Niles Fire Department following 17 years of faithful service. He enjoyed telling jokes, watching western movies on television and playing with his dogs, Critter and Gypsy.

Victor is survived by his wife Kim Milligan; daughter, April (Erik) Cruz of Fort Myers, Florida; two grandchildren Elijah, Zoe; two brothers, Ralph E. (Diane) Holbrook of Austintown, Tim A. (Katrina) Holbrook of Niles; sister, Carol Rossi of Boardman; sister-in-law, Desiree Holbrook of Niles. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Herbert M. "Herbie" Holbrook.

Calling hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday April 23, 2023 at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, followed by a gathering at the American Legion Hall on North Main Street, Niles. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
