Wayne E. Budny

YOUNGSTOWN - Wayne E. Budny, 63, passed away peacefully at 12:45 a.m.,on Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Hospice House following a one year illness. Wayne was born on July 4, 1957 the son of Edward and Josephine Frances (Stica) Budny.
Wayne retired in May of 2020 as an engineer at Packard Electric Company following 42 years of faithful service. He was of the catholic faith and graduated from the New York School of Technology with a Bachelors of Engineering and Electronics degree.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Kimberly Moore whom he married April 27, 1985; two sons Andrew Budny and Joseph Budny both of Youngstown; two sisters, Pam Budny of Indianapolis, Indiana, Donna (Kerry) Hasapidas of New Port Ritchey, Florida; two nephews, William and Benjamin Hasapidas; mother in law Jane Moore of Niles and brother in law Tom Hopper of Niles. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; father in law; sister in law Deanna R. Hopper and brother in law Gary L. Moore.
At his request a private service was held and a celebration of his life will be held for relatives and friends in the future. The Budny family extends a heartfelt Thank You to the Boardman Blood and Cancer Center and to Hospice House for all of their incredible compassionate care during this difficult time.
