William Czeck Obituary
HOWLAND - William Czeck, 87, formerly of Niles died at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday January 9, 2016 at the Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Howland.
He was born in Star City, West Virginia on May 17, 1928 the son of Frank and Rose (Kotarbo) Czeck.
Bill honorably served in the United States Army and retired in 1994 after working 20 years as a machinist at Wean United. He also spent many years working at Dilco Industrial in Salem. He enjoyed walking, listening to polkas, going out to eat and to the casinos. He was a Cleveland Indians and Browns fan.
Bill is survived by three sons, Stanley (Donna) Czeck of Lordstown, Richard (Patti) Czeck of Young Harris, Georgia, Robert (Celeste) Czeck of Corte Madera, California; daughter, Lori (John) Davis of St. Augustine, Florida; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and sister, Julia Becker of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margery (Mollis) Czeck who died on April 5, 2007; a son, William R. Czeck who died on October 18, 1989 and seven brothers and sisters.
A Service of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 8, 2016 at noon at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home where family and friends may call two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
