William Frye Sr. Obituary

William Elmer Frye Sr., 94, died at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the residence from prostrate cancer. He was born in Pleasant City, Ohio on October 22, 1928 the son of Dwight and Isabella Frye and came to this area many years ago. William was of the Methodist faith, a United States Army Veteran during the Korean War, a crane operator for over 40 years at the Allied Metals Company, Niles. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, repairing automobiles, and spending time with his grandchildren.

William is survived by two daughters, Sharon Ann Baughman of Texas, Nancy Lee Reed of Kinsman; son William E. (Rebecca) Frye Jr. with whom he lived; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jane Conlin Frye whom he married December 29, 1950 and who passed away on July 8, 1994 and a sister Anna Behm.

Funeral services will be held at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens, Canfield and burial next to his wife. There are no calling hours at his request.
