HOWLAND - Allen M. Boser Sr., 72, of Howland, died at 10:25 pm on Sunday July 25, 2010 at the Forum Health-Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
He was born in Warren, Ohio on October 9, 1937 to Malden and Margaret (McKay) Boser.
A 1955 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, he attended Ohio University and was a volunteer for Niles Special Police. He retired in 1991 after working 31 years as a dye setter at Packard Electric Company. He was a member of St. Stephen Church, Niles Moose Lodge and enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.
Allen is survived by two sons, Allen Boser Jr. of Warren, Michael Boser of Warren; daughter, Theresa Boser of Elkhart, IN; four grandsons, Allen Boser III, Matthew L. Boser, Stanley Zebroski, Carl Allen Boser Burgess; five great granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith (Jones) Boser whom he married on November 2, 1957 and who died on February 24, 1995; an infant daughter, Margaret Ruth Boser, two sisters, Dolores Kovach, Clara Elaine Sarrach.
Calling Hours will be Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 5 to 8 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. Stephen Church. Rev. Thomas Kraszewski will be the celebrant. Burial will be at St. Stephen Cemetery.
