CANFIELD - Carol Ann Pantalone, 55, passed away peacefully Tuesday October 25, 2011 at 5:50 am at Briarfield at Ashley Circle Nursing Home following a long illness.
 
She was born in Warren on November 30, 1955 the daughter of John and Angelina (Rubbo) Pantalone.  As a special needs child and growing up in Niles, she was one of the first students in Fairhaven School and later one of the original members of Fairhaven's Workshop Program. She lived independently for the last twenty years in a group home in Brookfield.  A member of the Highway Tabernacle Church, she was part of the care provided by the church's shut-in ministry. Carol Ann loved swimming, art projects, and hooking rugs.
 
Carol Ann is survived by her father, John Pantalone of Canfield; brother, Stephen J. Pantalone of Canfield; nephew, John Christopher Pantalone of Canfield; two nieces, Abby Lynn (Aaron R.) Lee and Casey Marie Pantalone both of Palm Beach, FL.  She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who visited with her and were the recipients of her never ending loving hugs.
 
She is at home again and verbally communicating for the first time with her mom, Angelina Pantalone who preceded her in death on May 1, 2011.
 
Calling hours will be Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 4 to 8 pm at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00 am at the funeral home where friends may call one hour prior to the service.  Pastor Jonathan Moore will officiate.  Entombment will be in Greenhaven Cemetery.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to the Highway Tabernacle Church, 3000 S. Raccoon Road, Youngstown, OH 44515 in her memory.
