NILES - Carol Jean (Holbrook) Madsen, 51, of 123 Saouth Butler Street passed away at 8:00am, Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at the residence following a three year illness. Carol Jean was born in Salem, Ohio on January 28, 1959 to Thomas and Mary (Stevens) Holbrook.
She lived in Saint Croix Falls, Wisc. and came back to this area some months ago. She was Niles McKinley High School graduate, enjoyed family activities with her family and caring for her pet dog Jeannie, and attended the Evening Light Apostolic Church of Niles.
Carol Jean is survived by her husband, Kevin Madsen, Step-daughter, Bobbi Jo Madsen, Step-son, Ricky Madsen and two step-grandsons all of Saint Croix Falls, Wi., mother Mary Holbrook with whom she lived, brother, John (Nicole) Holbrook Sr., two sisters, Mary Alice (James) Zucco and Bonnie (James) Sarber all of Niles. Four nephews Joe Zucco, John Holbrook Jr., Tom Holbrook, Christopher Holbrook, three neices, Felicia Williams , Jessica Sarber, and Heaven/Lee Elizabeth Holbrook . Three great nephews and two great neices.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1977 and a brother Henry Thomas Holbrook in 1998.
Friends may call at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home on Friday, June 25, 2010 from 5:00pm until the 6:30pm funeral service with Brother Darrell Cline officiating. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
