NILES - Charlotte L. Greenfield,
78, died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 12:15 am at her residence
following a long illness.
She was born in Warren on April 30, 1933 the
daughter of Elfie and Clara Lucille (Russell) Richards Sr. and
resided in this community all her life. A housewife, she was
a member of Musicians Local 118 of Warren playing the guitar and
electric base.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, Howard W.
Greenfield Jr. whom she married on August 14, 1950; daughter,
Brenda D. Hartzell of Leavittsburg; four grandchildren, Jonas
Hartzell, Dale Hartzell, Joe Greenfield Jr., Trevor Rounds; two
great grandchildren and sister, Mary Maldonado of Niles.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda
Sue Garcia who died on Oct. 25, 2001; son, Joseph W. Greenfield Sr.
who died on May 12, 2007; grandson, Ronnie Jo Matusky who died on
Dec. 10, 2010 and a brother Elfie Richards Jr.
Calling Hours will be Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011
from 9 to 11 am at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The
Funeral will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Girard
City Cemetery.
