YOUNGSTOWN - Concetta M. Eberts-Emerson, 78, of 3245 Vestal Road, passed away at 6:25 am on Friday June 25, 2010 at the Omni Manor Health Care Center following an extended illness.
She was born in Scottdale, Pennsylvania on October 22, 1931 to Alexander and Concetta DeRosa.
Concetta retired after working 15 years as an insurance agent for American General Insurance Company. She previously worked in the cookware and china sales department for Townecraft. Years ago she attended the Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church in Austintown and enjoyed swimming, dancing, bingo and traveling to Geneva-on-the-Lake with her family.
She is survived by her husband Clarence Paul Emerson of Niles whom she married on her birthday, October 22, 1991; two daughters, Deborah (Richard) Anderson, Cynthia Lemmon; grandson, Eric Lemmon; granddaughter, Lauren Malik all of Boardman; two sisters, Frances Ottenburg of Doylestown, PA and Mary Ann Mackin of Pittsburgh, PA.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael DeRosa, Patrick DeRosa and a sister, Ange Fail.
A Memorial Service will be Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Zion Lutheran Church in Cornersburg.
