PORT ST. LUCIE, FLORIDA - Howard D.
Hurst, 89, of Blue Lake Drive, died Sunday, October 16,
2011 at 3:15 pm at Palm Garden of Port St. Lucie.
He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on November 26,
1921 the son of Clifford and Genevieve (Timlin) Hurst and lived in
Niles most of his life. He moved to Florida in 2005.
An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he
worked for many years as an X-Ray technician at Youngstown Welding
and Engineering.
Howard is survived by a son, Daniel H. (Peggy)
Hurst of Niles; daughter, Maureen (Michael) Woodward of Port St.
Lucie, FL.
He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Eileen
(Class) Hurst whom he married on November 22, 1945 and who died on
October 14, 2002.
A private funeral service was held at the
Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles. Burial was in
Resurrection Cemetery.
