WARREN - Katherine "Kaye" Wiland,
83, died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 8:45 pm at the Pleasant
View North Retirement Center, Salem. She was born in Akron on
October 28, 1927 the daughter of Henry and Anna Marie Ellen (Bruch)
Jacob. She was a writer and reporter for WNIO and the Senior
News. She enjoyed writing, reading, plants, baking, animals
and astrology. Kaye is survived by a daughter in law, Linda
Wiland of Youngstown.She was preceded in death by her husband,
Lawrence E. Wiland whom she married on June 19, 1950 and who died
on February 15, 1987 and a son, Larry K. Wiland who died on October
28, 2004. A private burial will be Tuesday, September 13,
2011 at Pineview Cemetery.
