WARREN - Michael Allen Boyd,  31, of Warren, passed away Monday afternoon, May 10, 2010 at his residence.

Michael was born in Warren, Ohio on August 21, 1978 to Shirley Ann Boyd and lived in the community most of his life. 

He was 1995 Graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and attended Kent State University.  He was employed by Step Two Products of Streetsboro, and recently worked at the Peanut Brittle Company of Warren. Michael enjoyed watching basketball and professional ultimate fighting. 
 
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Ann Boyd with whom he lived; two aunts, Ruby Geddes and  Anna Riley both of Niles, nine cousins that he affectionately referred to as his four nieces and five nephews.  He was preceded in death by his uncle Leonard R. Boyd Jr. and aunts Beverly Jean Boyd and Helen Canann.
 
The funeral will be held at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 11:00am where family and friends may call one hour before the services. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.

    Shirley, This is Chuck Fertig's daughter.I'm so sorry for your loss. I have often thought of you guys through out the years. I remember swimming and playing in the basement with Michael when we were younger. He was a good person. I wish I could have been more involved in his and your life.
